The Burlington Symphony Orchestra is a not-for-profit, incorporated organization whose mission is to  “ to showcase great orchestral music to a broad and diverse community audience and perform exciting, live orchestral music that inspires, while providing opportunities for community engagement”.  Through concerts, educational programs and other community activities, we deliver programs for youth and promote the health benefits of music.

Holiday Inn tells the charming story of Jim, a former showman who trades the glitz of showbiz for a simpler life on a Connecticut farmhouse. However, he quickly realizes that life feels incomplete without music and dance. When he meets Linda, a talented and lively schoolteacher, they turn the farmhouse into a lively inn, celebrating holidays with show-stopping performances. But when Jim’s old friend Ted tries to whisk Linda away to Hollywood, Jim faces a battle to protect both his inn and his newfound love.

 

This Tony-nominated musical, packed with iconic songs by the legendary Irving Berlin, promises to captivate audiences with timeless hits such as “Shaking the Blues Away,” “Heat Wave,” “Blue Skies,” “Cheek to Cheek,” “Easter Parade,” and the unforgettable “White Christmas.”
